Close-Ups of Spring

This is a close-up of some moss and the sprouts growing from it.

A dried vine in the garden.

Some early spring flowers, blooming the third week of April!

Dried leaves that lasted through the winter.

A daffodil after the rain.

Today's collection of photos are from my favourite shooting style: close-up and personal! I love taking close-ups of nature because you can see so much beautiful detail that is not as visible to the human eye. These all turned out beautifully and are from my new Canon Powershot.

Lake Bernard, Ontario

Ada (8 weeks) thought she was pulling this boat to shore!

The water was fairly shallow for about 30 feet, but was cool since it was cloudy and raining throughout most of the weekend. As you can see, it was smooth as glass.

A beautiful family of ducks who were looking for treats.

These are photos I took from Lake Bernard. We stayed at a great camp that included many campsites, canoeing, and a beautiful beach.
